Spectra Logic Appoints Brian Grainger Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Industry veteran Grainger brings track record of success and strong customer relationships.
Boulder, CO (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 4, 2009 -- Spectra Logic, a leading innovator of intelligently integrated data protection solutions, announced today that it has promoted Brian Grainger to vice president of worldwide sales, overseeing all global sales functions, processes and management. Grainger brings more than 17 years of sales, product management and sales management experience in technology and data storage, as well as expertise in the Federal and high performance computing (HPC) sectors.

Grainger joined Spectra Logic in 2001 as the regional sales director of Southeast commercial sales. In 2004, he founded the Federal sales division of the company, which now comprises more than one-quarter of North American revenue. Since building the company's Federal team and efforts, Grainger has served as regional vice president of Southeast commercial and Federal sales. He was also instrumental in developing and building Spectra Logic's high performance computing (HPC) business.
