La Toya Jackson Serves Milkshakes on Halloween To Raise Funds for Aids Project LA
La Toya Jackson returns to Millions of Milkshakes to serve shakes and meet fans to support AIDS Project LA
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2009 -- La Toya Jackson will celebrate Halloween night with a return visit to West Hollywood hotspot Millions of Milkshakes on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. After launching her own flavor of milkshake in September with all of the proceeds going to AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), La Toya will be serving ice cream and shakes to trick-or-treaters, again donating all profits to APLA, one of her brother Michael's favorite charities.
La Toya had previously partnered with APLA when her record label decided to release her single, "Home," (which is currently on iTunes) and sent all proceeds to APLA, as well as when she participating in AIDS Walk Los Angeles earlier this month. La Toya is making it a personal goal to keep her brothers charitable legacy alive and growing.
While Millions of Milkshakes is known for its many delicious desserts, the "La Toya Jackson" milkshake consists of strawberries, raspberries, caramel, topped with whipped cream and a Cadbury flake! "I'm extremely excited to continue my involvement with APLA. I can't wait to get behind the counter and serve the community - and I can't wait to taste the La Toya shake again. It is very generous for Millions of Milkshakes to support our goal by donating proceeds from the store to such a great cause, I am very thankful to them!"
Millions of Milkshakes, located at 8910 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, California 90069, will donate proceeds from their signature shop for the month of October to support this amazing promotion.
