InventHelp® Partners with ERA for Their New Product Showcase
The InventHelp/INPEX New Product Showcase featured more than 40 inventors at the 2009 D2C Convention in Las Vegas.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 29, 2009 -- The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) Convention was held September 13-15, 2009 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. The ERA is America's leading trade association for companies using direct-to-consumer marketing to sell products. Their members' are well known for products like The SnuggieTM, P90X®, Oxiclean®, Bowflex®, Tony Little's Ab Isolator®, Total Gym®, MagicJackTM and Topsy Turvy®.
InventHelp® worked with the ERA to organize a display of inventions at this year's ERA show called the "InventHelp/INPEX New Product Showcase." Nicole Hait, Director of InventHelp's INPEX invention show, said that, "We were pleased to produce the showcase for the first time. The event was helpful to inventors and we plan to greatly increase next year's InventHelp/INPEX Showcase based on the positive reactions."
In addition to exhibiting and meeting with business attendees, inventors had the opportunity to present their products to a panel of ERA members such as QVC, Guthy-Renker and Livemercial, who were ultimately looking for the "Top 6 Pitchable" products of 2009. It was a race against the clock as inventors had two minutes to pitch their products in front of a packed house, trying to view what could be the next big TV product. "InventHelp's New Product Showcase gave me an opportunity to see a segment of inventions that I would not otherwise have seen. This showcase was a win-win for all involved and a great resource for those of us looking for new products," said Karen Hyman, President/CEO of Live Link, TV, Inc. "As a panelist that reviewed the inventions, I personally found a half dozen products that I was able to present to QVC."
Many inventors also found themselves in front of the camera, as they presented their products to a crew from the Discovery Channel's hit show Pitchmen. Star pitchman Anthony Sullivan was on hand, scouting not only for inventors with new products, but for a potential new co-host to replace the late Billy Mays.
InventHelp® client Ron Comrie exhibited his product, The Third Arm-Your Personal Golf Caddie at the New Product Showcase and was pleased with the feedback he received from the show…"I made many good contacts with important individuals. I feel very positive about the whole experience."
InventHelp® and INPEX® thank the ERA for allowing them the opportunity to participate in the forum for individual inventors at their show.
