New B3 Golf Fitness Training Program Expands Golf Training to Groups

With the new B3 golf fitness program, Body Balance for Performance of Galesburg gives golfers a new option for improving their games.

Galesburg, Ill. (PRWEB) May 12, 2008 -- Body Balance for Performance of Galesburg has introduced a new golf training program. The B3 program combines golf fitness and functional exercise in a small group atmosphere.

"The B3 golf fitness program takes the standard Body Balance methods and improves them," said Wil Azer, president of Body Balance for Performance of Galesburg (http://www.galesburg.fitgolf.com). "With this, we give golfers the opportunity for professional golf training in a social setting."

The B3 program is run by certified golf fitness instructors, available to both groups and individuals. Larger groups can be trained on-site, while smaller groups can meet at the Body Balance for Performance facility in Galesburg.

The training course involves eight sessions designed to improve golf play for foursomes, golf groups, and associations. The golf training assists people with swing problems that can lead to other problems in their game.

According to Azer, the group training offers an extra element of social accountability that golfers don't get when training on their own.

"You're more motivated to work out with other people," Azer said. "It's like having a work-out partner, somebody who will call you up and say 'Let's go!' With B3, you get the benefits of individualized attention with the encouragement and team-building aspects of a group training environment."

The B3 program promotes muscle strength, balance and flexibility throughout the body while targeting muscles in the golf swing. This type of golf training focuses on the core stability needed for the dynamic mobility during a golf swing with two types of training: functional training and cardiovascular resistance training.

Functional training encourages the body to rely on its own weight for better movement control. By exercising while practicing a golf swing, the body is allowed to become familiar with the rhythm and coordination during the swing.

Cardiovascular resistance training is the main focus of the B3 program. Its goal is to maintain increased heart rate and skeletal muscle activity. Light resistance builds muscle quickness and speed, while the heart and blood vessels will help build endurance needed during a long round.

"This golf training is something that can benefit every golfer," said Azer. "You'll better your game, and make new friends while you're doing it."

Get on board with the B3 program today and maximize your golf game. Visit Body Balance for Performance of Galesburg online at galesburg.fitgolf.com for more information.
